The classic Tom Collins cocktail has always been one of my favorites- ever since I was at the young and legal age of 21. Sometimes I’d even order a vodka collins. The basic recipe consists of lemon juice, sugar, gin, and carbonated water. Here is my take on this fine combination:
- 4 oz gin
- 2 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1.5 oz simple syrup
- Mix in a tall collins glass with ice
- Top with club soda
- Garnish with a cherry and lemon slice
This takes me back to the good times in my twenties. =)
Sip responsibly!
