With a ton of ginger beer in our fridge, we just had no choice but to make more cocktails. =) Here’s what we came up with:
- 2 oz tequila
- 2 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz simple syrup
- as much ginger beer as you please
I mixed the tequila, lime juice, simple syrup, ginger beer in an ice-filled tumbler and using a mixing spoon. I lined the rim of a separate serving glass with lime juice and dipped it in salt. I placed a large ice cube in it, then poured the chilled liquid into the glass (leaving the ice behind). And voila- you have a ginger beer margarita.
