Firefly Cocktails

The wifey and I rarely have time to ourselves without our baby. Thankfully, our parents offered to babysit through the evening of our wedding anniversary. Wifey’s coworker recommended for us to go to Firefly restaurant, an American restaurant in Studio City, CA. The restaurant has a rustic, vintage feel with an interior library lounge and a large outdoor space, including cabana-like compartments. The food was delicious, featuring some of California’s best farms. The cocktails were delicious:

Barrel Aged Old Fashioned:

Bourbon, Bitters, Sugar, Citrus

Infante:

Tequila, Lime Juice, Orgeat, Rosewater, Shaved Nutmet

Tule Mule:

Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey, Ginger, Brown Sugar, Lemon

Although, I love Ginger cocktails, my favorite was the Old Fashioned. My wife loved the look of the drink, but she can’t have more than a sip of this classic drink. If we ever have a night without the baby again, we’d come back to try the other cocktails. Or perhaps we’ll come back for a weekend brunch. =)
